Here Comes the Sun

This piece was created in the Summer of 2020 when we were all in the dark times of the COVID-19 pandemic. Here Comes the Sun was created out of hope for a bright future where we could enjoy each other's company without any threat of illness.

This piece is the largest panel I have created. It was made from a combination of scrap glass. The lettering was cut from a variety of cool colors, and the background pieces were cut from bright orange and yellow colored glass. It includes many of the remaining pieces of glass that my mother saved from when she did glasswork over 25 years ago.
